One person went missing after drowning in Seti River on Thursday evening. Naresh Mahara, a 19-year-old resident of Banauli in Shikhar Municipality-4 of the district, has gone missing, the police informed.

Mahara drowned and disappeared while taking a bath in the Thuligad river on the border of Ward No. 5 and 7 while returning after distributing marriage cards to his relatives.

The police said that they are searching for him.
