The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Control Council meeting held on Wednesday morning has decided to provide 50 lakhs to the fire victims. Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah said that based on the initial damage details, it was decided to provide 50 lakhs of assistance.

"The said amount will be provided to Bannigadhi Jaigarh Rural Municipality from the State Disaster Management Fund," said Chief Minister Shah, "The village municipality will provide relief by making humanitarian aid standards."

Chief Minister Shah informed that it has been decided to send Social Development Minister Meghraj Khadka and Internal Affairs Minister Hira Sarki to Jaigarh to understand the situation on the ground.

Tuesday night at 7 o'clock in the night, a fire started from a gas cylinder took a terrible form and 27 houses were completely destroyed, Achham police said. The fire was brought under control after five hours.
