Laxman Kishore Chaudhary, Minister of Industries, Tourism, Forests and Environment of Far West, has resigned from his post on Saturday morning after being accused of financial transactions.

Chaudhary became a minister from the Civil Liberation Party in the coalition government of Congress, UML and Civil Liberation Party. He held a press conference at the ministry and claimed that he resigned on moral grounds after being accused of financial transactions. Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah had instructed Minister Chaudhary to resign from the post.
