Darchula police arrested one person. According to the police, 46-year-old Janaki Karki, a local, was arrested with hashish by the police from Mahakali Municipality-1 Chapari in the district.
Kantiraj Joshi, Information Officer of Darchula, Zipra, informed that the police team deployed from Community Police Service Center Bangabagar arrested Karki with 136 grams of narcotic hashish.
According to information officer Joshi, hashish was found inside the cash register during a search of the grocery store operated by Karki in Chapari.
Karki is under police custody and further investigation is underway, the police said.
