In the election of independent students' union, the candidate of New Union has won the chairmanship of Dadeldhura multipurpose campus in Dadeldhura and Phulbari campus in Kailali.
Gaurav Iyer of Navy Sangh won as the president of Swaviyu of Dadeldhura campus. He got 184 votes out of 375. His competitors were Madan Bohra from the joint panel and Karn Dhami from the independent group. Bohra got 128 votes while independent candidate Dhami got 52 votes. Bindu Saud of the Navy Association has been elected as Secretary and Srijana Bista as Treasurer.
Bhuvanraj Joshi of Navy Sangh has won at Phoolbari Multipurpose Campus in Kailali. Joshi got 53 votes while his competitor Alok Tamang of ANERASWVIU got 36 votes. Seema Vika of Akhil (socialist) won the secretary and Saraswati Vika of Akhil (revolutionary) won the treasurer.
