Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that everyone should work together for disaster risk reduction and management.

At the provincial emergency warehouse transfer program located in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city 13 of Kailali, the Home Minister said that there is a government plan to develop the emergency warehouse in Kathmandu as a central warehouse.

He said that the necessary disaster materials will be made available to the emergency warehouses in the province by purchasing the materials received from foreign aid and the government.

He says that the responsibility of the state government is now to take care of the emergency warehouses handed over to the state. Home Minister Akbar instructed the subordinate agencies to work in coordination with the state government during the disaster.

In that sequence, Home Minister Akbar handed over the provincial emergency warehouse to Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah.
