It has been revealed that a 14-year-old girl from Parashuram municipality of Dadeldhura was raped after giving birth.

Police Inspector Upendra Bahadur Bam, Information Officer of the District Police Office, said that the girl from a low-class family was repeatedly raped by a 58-year-old man who was related to her.

According to him, the girl could not tell her family about the incident because the man threatened to kill her if she told anyone. It has been 10 days since the girl gave birth. We have already arrested that man 8 days ago," Information Officer Bam said, "On February 15, the girl was taken to Attaria after complaining of stomach ache. The incident happened after the child was born. Those men are being investigated by the district court with extension of time.' 

Locals say that the girl's father is over 70 years old and her mother is deaf, so they are unaware that their daughter is pregnant. Since the daughter goes to school and helps with housework on holidays, the family did not even get the bed that the daughter was pregnant with after the rape. 

According to family sources, 11 days ago, the girl was given leprosy medicine after she complained of stomach ache. After that also did not cure, other medicines were also given . He was taken to a private hospital at Attaria in Kailali after stomach pain and fever started to increase. 

'The victim is my grandfather's daughter . We live in Attiriya. She was brought to the hospital because her sister had a stomach ache. She is having trouble giving birth. When she was taken to the hospital, she gave birth to a daughter," the girl's brother said, "an unimaginable incident happened. All of us who went to the hospital were shocked. While understanding how she got pregnant, she was raped by her relatives.' 

According to the family, the 58-year-old man with whom the girl had a bad relationship was afraid of coming when no one was at home, threatening to have physical relations and threatening to kill the family even if she told anyone about the incident, so the girl could not tell anyone.

After the girl took the name of a 58-year-old man from the hospital bed, the family members searched for her and took her to the hospital where the girl was from Dadeldhura. Knowing that the financial condition of the victim is weak, the men were trying hard to hide the incident by giving money. We don't agree . "Pain on top of pain has been added to us," said the girl's brother.

According to him, the 70-year-old father of the girl was in close association with the man. Those men from the neighboring Alital Rural Municipality used to come to the girl's house because they were buying and selling goats. He was buying and selling goats in the village. A close relationship was connected because the girl kept goats in her house. The sister is very intelligent . They are afraid to speak loudly. We did not think that such an incident would happen,' said the girl's brother.

The girl who gave birth to a daughter in Attaria was kept in the Dadeldhura District Hospital for two days and in the safe house for two days and was handed over to her family. The family and society of the girl, who gave birth to a child by rape, could not take her home, so she was kept at a relative's house in Doti. Now Kalpana Bhatt, the founder of Drashti Foundation in Dhangadhi, rescued her and took her to Dhangadhi with the coordination of Parashuram Municipality.

'He kept it hidden in a relative's house . I was not even allowed to go out because I would be disgraced if found out in the village . I didn't get food well,' said the girl, 'the people of the house also started getting angry . That man said he would kill her parents if she told anyone.

Bhatt, the founder of Drashti Foundation, said that the victim girl was rescued from a difficult situation. He was bleeding when he arrived at the foundation. The health condition has also weakened. Both mother and child had no clothes. Now we have taken care of it," she said.
