The employees of the accounting group working under the Far West Province government have protested again saying that they have been deprived of the opportunity for professional development. On Wednesday, they wrote a letter to Chief Kamal Prasad Pokharel asking him to send them back to the federal government.

They had been holding a phased protest saying that the door to the moral development of the accounting staff working under the Far West government was closed. At the same time, during the protest that was restarted from Wednesday, they put forward a demand that the state government ignored the demands of the employees of the accounting group and that they should be returned to the union.

For those who have been adjusted in the Far West since 2074 and are working as accounting officers, the accounting group officers complain that there is no organization management and survey according to the Provincial Civil Service Act-079 and the Provincial Civil Service Regulation 081, and the opportunity for career development has been closed since the beginning.

"When the State Public Service Commission has even advertised for the morale development of the junior employees of other service groups, we are forced to return them to the Union because they do not care about the morale development of the officers of the accounting group," Baldev Kapadi, the accounting officer of the State Controller of Accounts Office, said, "We are now preparing to stage a sit-in at the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers and after that we are preparing to stop the process of payment from all agencies of the state government until the hearing." They staged a sit-in at the State Accounts Control Office on Wednesday. . 

138 employees of accounting group came to Sudurpaschim province for adjustment. But they say that half of the employees have already retired because the State Civil Service Act has closed the way for the professional development of the employees of the accounting group.

Another accounting officer, Padam Bisht, said that their demand should be to remove the system of groups from the ninth level of the administrative service in the province and arrange for the same moral development of the administrative service employees or to review the posts so that the moral development of the accounting group employees is done. 

Even before this, after they stopped the payment process of the offices, the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers formed a committee to study to address the demand. Accounts officer Krishna Shahi said that the said committee submitted its report without opening the way for career development and because the Public Service Commission proceeded with the process, it was forced to protest again. 

The agitating accounting officers have been demanding to remove the system of groups from the ninth level of the administration service in the province and arrange for career development as employees of the administration service or to review the posts so that the career of the employees of the accounting group is developed.
