A Nepali laborer has died after being buried by a landslide in Najang under Dharchula Tehsil of Pithoragarh District, Uttarakhand, India. Three Nepalese laborers and two Indian nationals were injured in the landslide.

Santosh Singh Thagunna of Naugad rural municipality-6 Dhuligada died after being buried in a landslide on Saturday afternoon. The injured are Ganesh Singh Thagunna, Birendrasingh Thagunna, Deepak Singh Thagunna, Rakesh Joshi and Suresh Kumar from India. 

They are road construction workers through the Chariot Company. While sitting in the shop, a landslide fell from above. Dharchula police station in-charge Vijender Shah informed that they were rescued by security personnel and taken to Dharchula hospital for treatment.
