The Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, has said that the provincial government will not spend the budget on plans that do not bring results.
While unveiling the statue of Kevalanand Dandi Swami, built by the Jalwa Devi Seva Samiti in Tikapur, he said that hundreds of structures costing crores of rupees were left standing.
Stating that the provincial government spends the budget based on the needs, he said, 'Yesterday, plans worth millions of crores were requested from the community level, the budget was spent on it, but today those plans have been completed but they have not been put into operation.'
He mentioned that now the state government has adopted the policy of allocating the budget only on the basis of justification. He said that it is necessary to invest only in areas that are needed by the society and will have an impact till tomorrow.
Stating that the state government is looking for people who have contributed to the nation and society, Chief Minister Shah said that Dandi Swami Samaj has a history of giving equal status to all citizens in addition to education, culture and culture.
