On Friday morning, the Khanlaga-Gokuleswar road section under the Mahakali highway was blocked due to a landslide along with Ledo.
According to the District Police Office, Darchula, a landslide has occurred in Kimtadi Thanyakathabhir, which was completed some time ago. Police Inspector Chhatra Rawal of the District Police Office said that traffic was stopped after the landslide blocked the road.
When the road was blocked, those who left for the district headquarters from Terai and Vehicles leaving the district and Krishnananda Badu, a resident who was stranded on the road, said. According to Police Inspector Rawat, preparations are being made to avert the landslide even though the continuous rain has not stopped since Thursday afternoon.
