One person was injured in a tiger attack in Melauli Municipality-3 of Baitadi. A tiger attacked 38-year-old Ganesh Singh Bhat, who went to graze goats in Melauli's Kola river on Monday morning.
According to Gagan Singh Bhat, Ward President of Melauli-3, the tiger attacked the Kola Khola forest area at around 10:30 am on Monday. According to him, Ganesh Singh used his sickle to kill the tiger and ran away.
The injured Ganesh Singh has been immediately sent to Patan Primary Health Center for further treatment after first aid.
District Police Office Baitadi has informed that a police team has been mobilized in the area after the tiger attack.
