Seti's doctor assaulted

Medical officer working at Seti Regional Hospital in Dhangadhi. Ved Prakash Pant was assaulted by one of the patients on Monday morning. On the way out of the ICU, he was assaulted at the door and his glasses were broken. Pant said.

Dr. Hemraj Pandey, the medical superintendent of the hospital, said that 24-year-old Krishna Rana of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-13 punched Dr. Pant. It is understood that he has been doing similar incidents in the past. Pandey said. 

Krishna was staying at his father Ramtar Rana's house while he was being treated in the ICU. His father is a neuro patient. Not even the patient I was looking at. I am working in the medicine department," said Dr. Pant. "Suddenly, he attacked me. I could not understand anything.' 

Kailali district police office spokesperson Kabindrasingh Bohra said that Krishna Rana has been taken into custody. It is understood that Rana assaulted Dr. Pant while returning from the ICU after examining the patient. The doctor's glasses are broken and his mouth is slightly injured," said spokesperson Bohra. "There have been initial reports that Krishna's mental condition is not good. We are understanding more.'
