Two persons were arrested with about 9 kg hashish from Bhimdatta Municipality-9 Bramhridev in Kanchanpur. On Tuesday morning, they were arrested on their way to India through Brahmarudeo Pass.

Those arrested are 35-year-old Mahendra Bahadur Rokaya and 42-year-old Amar Bahadur Rokaya of Chabispathivera Rural Municipality-2 of Bajhang.

SP Chakraraj Joshi of District Police Office Kanchanpur informed that they were arrested when they were taking hashish worms to India by tying them to their bodies. 

Mahendra tied 14 pokas and Amar 13 pokas, both of them tied 27 pokas to their bodies. The weight of hashish is 8 kg 926 grams. During the check, one person who was with them absconded. SP Joshi said that they are looking for him.
