The city chairman of the Nepali Congress was found dead. Achyut Kalouni, chairman of Bhimdatta municipality, was found dead on Saturday morning.

District Police Office Kanchanpur SP Chakraraj Joshi said that the body was found dead on the road 100 meters west of the ward office of Kalauni Bhimdatta Municipality-18. "There are no injuries on the body," he said, "We have started the investigation."

Kaluni's house is also in the same area. His house is 500 meters away from the incident site.
