'Launch' meeting with former Chief Minister by Sudur Chief Minister Shah

On Monday, on the occasion of the foundation day of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly, the Provincial Assembly Secretariat invited the provincial head, chief minister, former chief minister, ministers, parliamentarians and former parliamentarians. Although the event was a celebration of the entry of the eighth year of the Provincial Assembly, instead of exchanging greetings, reviewing the past and present, and expressing opinions about the priorities of the future, the key speakers including Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah engaged each other in long speeches.

It seemed that the program was not a day of enthusiasm, but many comments were heard that the leaders used it as a program to 'sneer' at each other.

Founding Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt, who is also the leader of Maoist, Rajendrasinh Rawal, leader of UML Parliamentary Party and former Chief Minister, former Chief Minister Dilig Bahadur Sodari, who is also the leader of United Socialist Parliamentary Party, and current Chief Minister Shah, were taunting each other. Each accused the other. Provincial Chief Minister Nazir Mian also complained that the work of the government was not effective in a circular manner.

is not only Monday's program, it is often the tendency of leaders of all parties to sneer at each other. The former and current chief ministers, who were accused of many accusations on Monday, sat in a 'lunch' meeting on Tuesday morning along with the speaker. Chief Minister Shah invited all the three former Chief Ministers and Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari to his residence and had a heart-to-heart. He stressed that there should be no division in development issues.

It is probably the first time that the Chief Ministers have come together informally. According to Speaker Bhandari, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the overall development of the province.    During the

discussion, there was an understanding between them that they should play a joint role to strengthen the provincial structure, said former Chief Minister Gil Sodari. "Contemporary issues such as finalizing the provincial capital and moving forward, increasing development expenditure, and efficient deployment of personnel were discussed," former Chief Minister Sodari said, "this is the first time such a discussion has been held."

Speaker Bhandari said that a common understanding has also been reached in terms of making a common understanding with necessary consultation to make the Provincial Assembly effective. Founder Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt said that Chief Minister Shah's initiative to listen to past experiences and lessons is a positive initiative. "The main discussion was about questions raised on federalism and deciding the capital," said Bhatt.
