A girl was injured in Bajhang when she was hit by a jeep. According to the police, 12-year-old Navina Kunwar of Jaiprithvi Municipality-10, Kheira is among the injured.

Kunwar, who was returning home from school, was hit near the bus park by a jeep numbered Suprap-2-02001 Ch 0462 around 2 pm. The injured girl is being treated at District Hospital Bajhang.

The driver of the jeep that hit the girl, 32-year-old Kamal Thapa of Thalara Rural Municipality, is absconding after the incident. The jeep has been seized by the police. Police said that the team led by Police Inspector Jai Bahadur Dangi is looking for the absconding driver.
