A police jawan working at District Police Office Kanchanpur has opened fire on himself. On Friday evening, police constable Chakraraj Neupane shot himself and was seriously injured.
31-year-old Neupane was in charge of the management branch that manages arms. He lived alone in that room. Firing was also done in Ghadighaan area on Friday.
'He lived alone in that branch, he was shot suddenly in the evening,' said DSP Umesh Joshi, 'he said there was domestic tension, it was not clear whether it was because of that or something else.' Neupane is undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College. DSP Joshi said that health is improving now. He has been working in the police force for 9 years.
