In the five months of the current fiscal year, the capital expenditure of the Sudurpaschim province government has been very low.
During the period from July to November of the current financial year 081/82, the capital expenditure is only 1.32 billion 3.6 million. This cost is only seven percent. But out of that, the remaining payment of the last financial year is about one billion.
By reducing the payment of the work done last year, the development expenditure of the current financial year comes to only around 320 million. In the current financial year, the capital budget is 18 billion 76 million 24 lakh 23 thousand.
The total budget is 31 billion 62 million 98 million 28 thousand. The total expenditure of this period is 3 billion 44 crores 38 lakhs 64 thousand ie about 10 percent. According to the Provincial Accounts Controller Office, the current budget is 12.85 billion 74.5 thousand and 2.12 billion 2.44 thousand has been spent till November.
It is recorded that the Far West government has spent almost as much as the current financial year in the first quarter of the last three financial years. The ministry with the largest capital budget in the current financial year is the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. The ministry has a capital budget of 14 billion 10 million 67 lakh 52 thousand. According to the State Controller of Accounts Office, 1.23 billion 1.9 million 40 thousand has been spent till November.
"More than one billion is the payment of the plan that has been implemented since last year," Mohan Kunwar, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, said, "There is no expenditure for the current financial year." The budget also came late. The process is just starting.'
