Kailali police arrested two Indian citizens from Dhangadhi along with half a kilo of gold.
The police arrested them with 549.2 grams of gold from a car with Indian number plate at the traffic intersection of Dhangadhi on Sunday.
Kailali police chief SP Padam Bahadur Bisht said that gold was found in the pocket of the jacket kept inside the car while checking the car number UP 32 JV 9200. 44-year-old Deepak Gupta and 34-year-old Sumit were in the car. SP Bista said that both of them were arrested. According to
Bista, one laptop, two mobile phones, 44 thousand 810 Nepali rupees, 1 thousand 280 Indian rupees and a car were seized from Indian citizens.
