Gopal Hamal, mayor of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, has become unwell. After Hamal's health did not improve, he was taken to Delhi, India for further treatment on Saturday.

Dr. Mayametro Hospital involved in the treatment of Mayor Hamal. According to Hari Paudel, he has cerebral palsy. His health condition is stable. As there are no facilities for all types of treatment in Dhangadhi, we have referred, Dr. Paudel said. Hamal was unwell for a few days. Hamal was admitted to the hospital on Friday after his unwellness worsened.

According to Hamal's secretariat, he had a cold on Friday. The representative of the secretariat said, "He has been taken to Max Hospital in Delhi, where he has been receiving treatment since the beginning." He was previously suffering from ear disease. Hamal's son Ayush and brother have gone with him for treatment and care.
