A letter has been registered in the state assembly secretariat by the chairman of Nagarik Unmukti Party (Naupa) Ranjita Shrestha recommending the removal of state minister Indira Giri, who is involved in the Far West government, as an MP.
Ramlal Dagaura Tharu, President Ranjita Pakshadhar, who is also the Mayor of Tikapur Municipality, registered the letter. Tharu was escorted by the security personnel from Dhangadhi Airport to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat. Tharu said that after removing Giri, they are preparing to recommend another member.
President Shrestha informed that it was decided to remove him from the parliament as he did not come to the party meeting and did not answer the questions asked by the party. Giri is proportional member of parliament from Naupa . After the collapse of the government, the Chief Minister of the Far West, Kamal Bahadur Shah, appointed Naupaki Giri as the Minister of State for Land Reforms.
