Norway have entered the last 16 of the World Cup after Erling Haaland scored the decisive goal in the final minute. Norway defeated Ivory Coast 2-1 in Dallas, USA, on Tuesday.

The two teams were playing in the knockout stages for the first time in World Cup history. Haaland scored the decisive goal as the match headed into extra time. Norway will now play Brazil on Sunday for a place in the quarter-finals.

Antonio Nusa showed off his individual skills to give Norway the lead in the 39th minute. Ivory Coast also scored another excellent goal to tie the game 1-1. Amad Diallo scored a personal best in the 74th minute to equalize for Ivory Coast.

Haaland scored easily from six yards in the 86th minute after a great pass from Patrick Berg. It was his fifth goal in this World Cup. He is one goal behind Argentina's Lionel Messi, the top scorer.

Haaland, who scored 2 goals each in the first two group stage matches, was benched in the final match. Haaland also scored for Norway in his 13th consecutive match.
