Ultra runner Rasila Tamang left for Switzerland on Sunday for a two-month training.
Rasila, who made history by winning the Asia Trial Masters Women's Championship, will train in Gratchen and La Grave in France during her two-month stay. She will also participate in three ultra race competitions in Switzerland and France.
Rasila is the first ultra runner and mountaineer from Nepal to win the Asia Trial Masters. She has successfully climbed Yalung Ri Peak (5630 meters), Chulu Far East (6045 meters), Pokalde Peak (5806 meters), Lobuche East (6119 meters) and Island Peak (6165 meters).
