Doctors have said that defender Bimala Bik, who was injured in Wednesday's semi-final match against Bangladesh in the Women's SAFF Championship 2026, will need surgery. She was taken to Victor Hospital in Goa immediately after the match. According to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) spokesperson and Nepali team president Suresh Shah, the hospital doctors have said that she will need surgery.
