The first Angels Heart National Cup Junior U-16 Futsal tournament organized by Angels Heart National School is scheduled to be held on Sunday.
Eight student teams will participate in the five-a-side knockout tournament, said Angels Heart National School Principal Tak Bahadur Thapa at a press conference on Tuesday. The participating teams are Angels Heart National School, Kavya, Rona Academy, Samriddhi, Kathmandu Euro School, Future Star, Kathmandu Lok Shiksha and Angels Heart Mavi.
At the press conference, Angels Heart President Lil Bahadur Pun, Principal Thapa, Angels Sports Academy President Khim Thapa, tournament coordinator Suman Timalsina and others unveiled the trophies to be awarded to the top four teams and the best players in each category. The one-day tournament will be played at the organizer's home ground in Manmaiju.
