The title of the district level open badminton tournament organized in Hille, Dhankuta has been won by the pair of Narayan Bishwakarma and Vishal Parajuli in the A division and Ramesh Shrestha and Utsav Katel in the B division.
In the final match of the tournament organized by the Creative Cultural Group Hille, the pair of Narayan-Bishal won the title by defeating the pair of Bimal Shrestha and Rohit Katel in straight sets of 21-9 and 21-15.
Similarly, in the B division, the pair of Ramesh-Utsav defeated the pair of Pemba Lama and Pawan Limbu in straight sets of 21-16 and 21-12 to become the winners, according to the organizers.
The winning team of the A division has received a cash prize of Rs 11,000 and the runner-up has received Rs 5,500. Similarly, the winner of the B division has received a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and the runner-up has received Rs 10,000.
