Gill shared a 118-run partnership with Sai Sudarshan for the first wicket. Sudarshan scored 55 runs. In reply, Rajasthan could only manage 152 runs before being bowled out in 16.3 overs. Ravindra Jadeja's 38 was the highest individual score.
Rashid Khan took four wickets for 33 runs. After this win, Gujarat have 14 points and have moved up to second place. Rajasthan remain fifth with 12 points.
