The 'Vahinipati Trophy' has been launched in Hille, Dhankuta with the aim of enhancing collective spirit, developing discipline and identifying outstanding players among soldiers. The competition started on Wednesday at the Mahendra Army Camp ground in Hille, organized by Shree No. 2 Bahini Adda.
The games will be held from Wednesday until Baisakh 31. The competition will be held in nine disciplines including football, volleyball, basketball, judo, boxing, taekwondo, kabaddi, swimming and athletics.
Players from Shree No. 2 Bahini Adda in Hille, Dhankuta, Bhimdal Group in Salleri, Bhagwati Dal and Bhimkali Group in Sunsari, Shivdal Group in Morang, Naya Srinath Group in Bhojpur, Indra Dal Group and Randal Group in Sankhuwasabha and Shatrumardan Group in Tehrathum are participating in the competition, informed Bahinipati Diwakar Bikram Rana.
The games of the competition will be held at the Hile Barracks, Salleri Barracks and Tallo Tundikhel in Dhankuta.
