The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the Nepali women's national cricket team for the Asian Games qualifiers and the ACC Women's Premier Cup.
CAN has made public the names of 14-member Nepali women players. There are four alternates.
The team will be captained by Indu Verma, while Pooja Mahato will be the vice-captain. The team includes Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Ruby Poddar, Kavita Joshi, Kavita Kunwar, Riya Sharma, Sita Rana Magar, Anu Kadayat, Manisha Upadhyay, Rubina Chhetri, Soni Pakhrin and Seema KC.
Similarly, CAN has said that Savitri Dhami, Somu Bista, Sana Praveen and Laxmi Saud have been named as alternates. The Asian Games qualifiers to be held in Malaysia will be held from 23 to 31 May, while the Premier Cup will be held from 1 to 13 June.
