Defending champions Manaslu and Child Entrepreneur Center Secondary School reached the finals of the Fourth Ward President's Cup Inter-School Football Tournament on Monday.
In the semi-final of the tournament organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 7, Manaslu defeated Hillary 'B' by 1-0. Sangam Tamang scored the decisive goal. Manaslu's Robin Tamang was declared the man of the match.
In the other semi-final held at Chandrabinayak Park in Chabahil, Child Entrepreneurs defeated Pashupati Mitra Secondary School 'B' by 1-0. Man of the match Arjun Khadayat scored the decisive goal. The final will be held on Tuesday.
The winner of the seven-a-side knockout tournament will receive a prize of 30,000 and the runner-up will receive 15,000. The 4 best players in each category will be awarded 2,500 rupees each.
