The competition, which has been organized by the Rhino Club Madhyabindu for the past 20 years, includes 12 teams from the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, Lumbini, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and a team from Kolkata, India.

The game will be held at the Rhino Stadium in Madhyabindu-4 in eastern Nawalparasi. The first place in the competition will be awarded Rs 8 lakh, the second place will be awarded Rs 4 lakh, a shield and a certificate. All teams that reach the semi-finals will be provided with facilities as per ANFA rules, Rhino Club President Doman Bhandari informed at a press conference on Sunday. This game has been organized every year with the aim of raising public awareness about the conservation of the one-horned rhinoceros.

The game, previously organized by the Nandabhanu Intermediate Consumers Committee and Chitwan National Park, has been organized by the Rhino Club since last year.

Gandaki Province Sports Council Member-Secretary Shridhar Sharma said that the competition is important to develop the game along with raising public awareness for the conservation of forests and wildlife across the country.

The game, which started with the Male Cup 20 years ago, has been organized since 2070 BS to raise public awareness for the conservation of the one-horned rhinoceros. The Rhino Club has also stated that it aims to organize a friendly football competition between countries where the one-horned rhinoceros is found in the coming days.
