India qualified by finishing first as per the provision of two nations qualifying. India won all four matches. Nepal had won 3 matches, losing only to India. Nepal defeated Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pakistan. Sri Lanka, who won two matches, finished third, Maldives, who won one match, finished fourth and Pakistan, who remained winless, finished fifth.
On Friday, Nepal defeated Maldives 2-1. In the girls singles, Nepal's Arya Poudel defeated Lyra Usma Ali in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. In the other singles, Maldives' Isra Ibrahim defeated Nepal's Sara Pant 6-3, 6-3 to level the match at 1-1. Nepal booked their place in the Singapore doubles after Naira Ghale and Sara defeated Lyra and Isra 6-3, 6-1. In the girls' event, India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0.
India and Pakistan had already secured their place in the Asian finals on Thursday in the boys' event held at the Satdobato Tennis Complex. India defeated Pakistan 3-0 in the final on the last day to become the winner.
Sri Lanka finished third in the boys' event, Nepal fourth, Bhutan fifth and Maldives sixth. Sri Lanka defeated Nepal 2-1 in the match to determine the third and fourth places. In the girls' event organized by the Nepal Tennis Association, six South Asian countries participated, except Bangladesh.
The winners were awarded by Nepal Tennis Association President Manohardas Mul and ITF Development Officer Janeth Stubbs.
