Damak Veteran Club has made a winning start to the sixth edition of the International Invitational Itahari Veteran Gold Cup Football Tournament. In the opening match held at the Janata Multiple Campus playground in Itahari on Sunday, Damak Veterans made a winning start by defeating Dharan Veterans Club by a margin of 2-0.
Tejendra Shrestha scored the first goal for Damak. Damak received the next goal from Dharan as a gift. Dacam, which took the lead in the 24th minute of the competitive match through Tejendra's goal, scored an own goal in the last 3 minutes of extra time.
