Lumbini Province defeated the departmental team Armed Police Force in a competitive match held in Birgunj on Wednesday under the Prime Minister's Cup Men's National Cricket Tournament. Lumbini won the thrilling match that went to the Super Over.

APF, who batted first after winning the toss at the TB Shah Cricket Ground, managed to score only 124 runs in 39.4 overs, losing all their wickets. Abhishek Gautam and Deepak Bohara scored 20 runs for APF, but the other batters could not perform significantly.

Lumbini Province's bowlers looked impressive. Ajay Chauhan took 4 wickets for 14 runs in 9 overs, while Santosh Yadav took 3 wickets.
