Departmental team Nepal Police Club defeated Koshi Pradesh by 6 wickets in a match held in Birgunj on Tuesday under the Prime Minister's Cup National Men's Cricket Tournament. Police Club, which won the toss and elected to field first, performed well and achieved an easy victory. Batting first, Koshi Pradesh scored 162 runs in the stipulated 42.5 overs. Sujan Thapaliya and Suman Shrestha contributed 48 runs and 43 runs for Koshi. Dinesh Kharel of Police performed well and took 5 wickets in 7 overs and gave 21 runs in 5 balls. He also bowled 2 overs.
