An AFC Pro-license coach, he has experience managing various clubs and national teams on four continents. He most recently managed the senior and youth national football teams of Laos.
Nepal will play an international friendly match against Hong Kong for the first time under Arena's leadership on Chaitra 12. After that, Nepal will visit Laos for the final match of the third round of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Arena has been appointed as Nepal's head coach for one year.
Coach Arena mentioned that Nepali players have potential and his aim is to increase the number of good players.
