With the help of Sachin Bhatta's excellent bowling, Baitadi has won consecutively in the Far Western Province selection of the Prime Minister's Cup One-Day National Cricket Tournament.

Baitadi defeated Bajhang by 8 wickets in the match played today at the Fapla Cricket Ground. Earlier, Baitadi defeated Darchula by 128 runs in the first match.

Baitadi achieved the target of 61 runs in 8.3 overs for the loss of two wickets. Naren Bhatt scored an unbeaten 31 and Gajendra Bohara scored an unbeaten 16 for Baitadi. Sushil Rawal of Bajhang took one wicket.

Earlier, Bajhang won the toss and elected to bat first and was bowled out for 60 runs in 12.2 overs. Abhinash Singh scored 19 and Nirajan Rawal scored 16 runs for Bajhang.

Sachin Bhatt of Baitadi took 6 wickets alone. He bowled four overs and gave away only 7 runs. Sachin was also declared the Player of the Match. Similarly, Lokendra Chand took 3 wickets.

8 districts of the province are participating in the competition being organized by the Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association. After the provincial selection, the Sudurpaschim team will be selected for the national cricket competition.
