Home team Nepal has been eliminated from the league stage of the SAFF Under-19 Women's Championship football tournament underway in Pokhara.

Nepal was eliminated from the tournament after losing 4-0 to Bangladesh in the final match of the league stage at the International Football Stadium in Pokhara Stadium today.

Bangladesh managed to score two goals in the first half and two in the second half to upset Nepal. Alpi Akhtar scored a hat-trick to give Bangladesh the victory. Protima Munda took the lead in the third minute of the match, and Akhtar doubled the lead in the injury time of the first half.

Nepal was struggling to come back in the second half after falling behind by two goals in the first half. Akhtar scored in the 67th and 82nd minutes of the match to send Bangladesh into the final.
