Nepal is going to compete against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today as part of the first warm-up match. The match will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from 5:15 pm today according to Nepali time.
Similarly, Nepal will play the second warm-up match against Canada on Thursday. Both the practice matches are being held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, where the World Cup will be played, which the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) expects to help the team get used to the ground and conditions.
Nepal will start its World Cup journey by playing against England on February 8. Nepal is in Group 'C' of the World Cup, where two-time world champions West Indies, one-time champions England, Scotland and Italy are.
Nepal is scheduled to compete against Italy on February 12, West Indies on February 15 and Scotland on February 17. Nepal will play all the group stage matches in Mumbai. Nepal previously played in the 2014 and 2024 World Cups.
