Two league stage matches are being held today as part of the SAFF Under-19 Women's Championship football tournament being held at the Pokhara International Football Stadium.

The first match will be played between Bangladesh and India at 12 noon. Similarly, the home team Nepal will compete with Bhutan at 3 pm. 

Both Nepal and Bhutan had previously lost their first matches. India disappointed Nepal by 1-0. Bhutan was defeated by Bangladesh by a wide margin of 12-0 in the opening match of the tournament.

Therefore, both Nepal and Bhutan will be under pressure in the second match of the tournament. Today's match will be important for both teams to keep their chances of the final alive. Bangladesh and India have won one match each and have equal three points. 

Only four teams have participated in the tournament this time. The tournament, coordinated by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) and organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), is being played in the 'round robin league' system.  Where each team will play one match against the other team.

After the league stage of the competition, the top two teams will compete for the title in the final match to be held on Magh 24, informed SAFF General Secretary Purushottam Kattel.
