The Nepali national U-20 team won 3-1 against the Yunnan Provincial Youth Team of China in a friendly match organized at the Dasharath Stadium on Saturday to mark the Chinese New Year.

Nepali U-20 team won the match after scoring three goals in the last minute. Nepal, trailing by one goal in the first half, scored by Sukriya Mia, captain Birsna Chaudhary and Sajni Xiangtan.

Shi Xiaoting scored in the 41st minute of the match to give Yunnan Youth the lead. Sukriya equalized in the 84th minute from Nepal.

Captain Birsna added a goal in the 87th minute to give Nepal the lead. Substitute player Sajni scored in the fifth minute of injury time to seal Nepal's 3-1 victory.

The friendly match was jointly organized by ANFA, Yunnan University's Faculty of Physical Education and Nepal Overseas Chinese Association and coordinated by the Chinese Embassy and the National Sports Council.

Before the match, cultural performances reflecting the cultural diversity of Nepal and China were given. There was a dragon dance from China and a special performance of Panchebaja from Nepal.
