The election program of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has been postponed until further notice on Tuesday. The ANFA working committee had earlier set the election date for Magh 12.

The working committee had decided to hold early elections six months before the end of its term. In a writ petition filed against it, the Patan High Court had issued an interim order and ordered to stop the election process.

After receiving the order issued on Magh 4, the ANFA Election Committee decided not to hold the election until further notice. ANFA was being criticized for making the decision to hold early elections without completing the process.
