Tribhuvan Army Club, led by perennial domestic football coach Balgopal Maharjan, achieved an impressive victory in its first match of the National League Football on Saturday.

In the first match, Chitlang defeated Nav Janajagruti Yuva 2-1. In the match played at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Chitlang took the lead in the 28th minute through a goal by Matthew Babatunde. Udit Narayan Chaudhary scored for Janajagruti in the 36th minute to equalize the game. In the 62nd minute of the second half, Solomon Adeyinka scored the second goal for Chitlang.
