The competition, organized in collaboration with the Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation and with the technical support of the Kathmandu District Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, will feature nine categories for men.
The second Mr. Mahanagar Bodybuilding Championship, organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 22, is scheduled to be held on Jestha 29 and 30.
The competition, which will be held in collaboration with the Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation and with the technical assistance of the Kathmandu District Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, will feature nine categories for men, said Ward 22 Chairman Chinikaji Maharjan at a press conference on Saturday.
There will be six weight groups, two sports physics and one overall category for women. An open competition will be held under sports physics for women. The women's competition has been added from this edition.
The overall winner will be awarded the title of second Mr. Metropolitan, along with a cash prize of Rs 500,000, a trophy and a banner. The first, second, third, fourth and fifth placers in each weight group will be awarded Rs 100,000, Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
