India comfortably defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the third and final ODI on Saturday. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 116 to seal a one-sided victory for India, taking the three-match ODI series 2-1.

In the match played in Visakhapatnam, India achieved the target of 271 runs in 39.5 overs for the loss of just one wicket. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 116 runs for India.

He shared a 155-run partnership with Rohit Sharma for the first wicket. Rohit was dismissed for 75 runs. Then Virat Kohli added 65 runs not out.

Earlier, South Africa, batting first, scored 270 runs in 47.5 overs, losing all their wickets. Opener Quinton de Kock played a century innings of 106 runs.
