Nepal's top long-distance runner Santoshi Shrestha left on Wednesday to participate in the world-renowned Valencia Marathon.
The 44th edition of the Valencia Marathon will be held in Valencia, Spain on Sunday, December 7. The Valencia Marathon, which began in 1981, is one of the most attractive marathons in the world, and has received platinum level recognition from World Athletics.
Valencia is considered the easiest course in the world, so runners from all over the world are highly preferred to get their best time.
Santoshi has been selected based on her performance in the Dhara Nepalgunj Marathon and Pokhara International Marathon. Nepal Run UK will make all arrangements for Santoshi's participation.
Along with Santoshi, Nepal Run UK founder and coach Santosh Rai has also left for Valencia. Coach Rai and other members of Nepal Run UK will also participate in the Valencia Marathon. Coach Rai said that they will reach Valencia from the UK.
