Cloud Janakpur will remain the team's official education consultancy.
Defending champions Janakpur Bolts on Wednesday signed a sponsorship agreement with Cloud Education and Visa Services for the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Cloud Janakpur will remain the official education consultancy of the team. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Cloud has been working in Nepal.
The agreement was signed by Janakpur Managing Director Niroj Khatiwada and Cloud CEO Anish Gautam. CEO Gautam wished them good luck in defending the trophy by playing with good team spirit. Last year, Janakpur won the title by defeating Sudurpaschim Royals in the final.
Managing Director Khatiwada is confident that this partnership will last a long time. The helmets worn by Janakpur players will have the Cloud Nepal logo. Janakpur has already signed an agreement with Nepal Lube as the lubricant partner for the NPL.
Coach Pubudu Dassanayake, who led Janakpur to the title last year, has joined Biratnagar Kings. Janakpur has replaced him with West Indies batting legend Shivnarayan Chandrapal. Anil Shah, who captained Janakpur last season, said he hopes to learn more from the new coach. He said the team is yet to announce who will captain the team this season.
