The 10th National Games are scheduled to be held in the first week of Falgun 2082 BS. The 123rd board meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of National Sports Council (NSC) Chairman and Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta decided to hold the 10th National Games in Karnali Province from Falgun 1 to 7.

The meeting has decided to recommend to the Council of Ministers to give a cash prize of Rs 2.5 million to former runner Jeet Bahadur KC, who won Nepal's first international medal.

Similarly, it has been decided to direct the National Sports Association, which has not held a national competition for a long time, to hold a national competition within 3 months, to provide the facilities and prizes announced by the National Sports Association itself to the concerned players within 15 days, and to direct the Sports Association to submit a report on foreign visits to the National Sports Council.

The meeting, facilitated by National Sports Council Member Secretary Tankalal Ghising, was attended by National Sports Council Vice President Dhruv Acharya, Secretary of the Ministry of Sports Hari Prasad Lamsal, board members and others.
