West Ham United secured their second Premier League win of the season on Sunday, coming from a goal down to beat Newcastle United 3-1 at the London Stadium. It was their first win under new manager Nuno Spirito Santo.

It was also West Ham's first home win since February. The win took them to seven points from 10 games and left them 18th in the relegation zone. Newcastle are 13th with 12 points. 

Newcastle took the lead in the fourth minute through Jacob Murphy. Lucas Paqueta equalised for West Ham in the 35th minute. West Ham took the lead for the first time in the match after Sven Botman scored an own goal in first-half injury time. Tomas Sochek added a third late on for West Ham. 

Celta Vigo win

Madrid - Roman Gonzalez's decisive goal in the first minute of second-half injury time gave Celta Vigo a 2-1 victory over ten-man Levante in La Liga on Sunday. Celta Vigo took an early lead after Oscar Migueza scored in the first half.  Levante equalized in the second half after Kervan Arriga scored for Levante. Levante lost Unai Vansender to a red card in the 29th minute, which made things a little easier for Celta Vigo. After the win, Celta Vigo has 13 points and has risen to 11th place. Levante is in 17th place with 9 points. 

Inter in second place

Milan-

Inter Milan moved up to second place in the Italian Serie A table with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona on Sunday. After Piotr Zielinski's goal gave Inter the lead in the 16th minute, Giovane equalized for the home team in the 41st minute.  With the game heading towards a draw, Martin Freise scored an own goal in second-half injury time to give Inter the win and they have 21 points from 10 games. That is just one point behind leaders Napoli. Defending champions Napoli have 21 points. 

Marseille follow PSG

Paris – Angel Jomez’s only goal helped Marseille beat Auxerre 1-0 in French Ligue 1 on Sunday to move into second place in the points table. The win took Marseille to 22 points from 11 games, two points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). 

PSG have 24 points from 11 games. Monaco are third with 20 points. Gomez scored the decisive goal in the 30th minute. The two teams were reduced to 10 men at the end of the match. Marseille's Ulisse Garcia and Auxerre's Sinali Diamante were sent off after receiving red cards.
